History
The ideas of the KMS is based on the concepts of Israely Close Combat masters. Further
influence of the basis has been made by the founders Taiyo, Co-founder Glenn Jordheim
and the connected Instructors and Advisors. The
system will continuously be improved by the excellent technical advisors who
have agreed to help develop KMS. Also the students and instructors of the KMS
are encouraged to make input and help develop the best techniques for the
system. The
system was founded in recognition to the Israeli masters who came up with
excellent ideas and used their experience to create a successful system which
gave a tool for their target group. However
as technology develops and communication has brought a revolution to spreading
information and techniques, the founders used the newly available information
together with the basis of the Israeli Grandmasters to create an improved
satellite of the existing and very well rounded systems. An
important basic idea is to make the KMS available to everyone who has the right
spirit and deserves to be taught - NOT using religion, political conviction or
gender as a criterion – Also the system must be available to everybody with no
regards to economic background. Fees to the systems organization or instructors
are recommended to remain at a reasonable but low level. Further it is a basic thought to make techniques law-conform. This means that besides the usual Krav Maga techniques KMS is building a solution which uses "Proportional use of force". Fight only with the means you have to - but be sure remain in power fighting. all possible to keep in contact with the Grandmasters and their extreme
knowledge and developments in order to keep these. However the opportunity to
gain the best techniques from all existing Krav Maga systems as well as
traditional and practice oriented modern sports is kept. This is
