"Never be too proud to learn more" Taiyo

 

The practical training part of Krav Maga is actively using Knock Down Karate from the Kyokushin Budo Kai (IBK) Organisation and traditional Boxing as Tools for achieving the right fighting movements and gaining the abilitv to withstand the physical stress of a “combat contact”.situation

There will be taught strategy and tactics against single and multiple oponents in warious situations and surroundings (i.e. in car, bus, Elevator, Offices, airplane or during demonstrations).

The system is based on Standing techniques,-  groundfighting knowledge will only be part of the instructor and master Programm.

The reason for the Focus on the Standing game must be seen in the fact that, fighting on the ground in a “no Rules” situation with eventually more oponent can be leathal even against small oponents, as even a light oponent can kick your head and more simple effectively use a weapon (stone/ashtray) when you are Not mobile.- also most policemen and soldiers are Not “dressed” for the ground as their equipment would make it impossible to move on the ground or making simple roll without Getting an injury.-It is hence essential that the Student received intense Training in withstanding the take down of an oponent.

The Student will receive instruction in/learn about:

Self defence “Hagana Atsmit”

For the time being the system is actively using techniques from the following systems:

Existing Krav Maga Systems,  Jiu Jitsu, Sambo, Judo, Aikido, Karate, Boxing, Thai-/Kickboxing.

The system uses a simple and specified number of techniques:

Stances, Blocks, Punches, Kicks, Locks, Take Downs

Further techniques are among Others :

Head Butts, Eyepoke, Biting, Thearing, Small Joint Manipulation, Extreme holds.

 

 

The system is based on a“Keep It Simple - Stupid” KISS Philisophy and must always be very simple to perform. The Target is to give the Student and effective self-defence and "Active Combat Solutions" within a very short period of time.

Further to Create a Student whom is mentally and physically prepared to meet a “Contact combat”-situation well prepared and with Tools to solve equal critical situations- as a Professional or a civilian.

All techniques will based on natural reactions and from here leading to the optimal finalization with control - all solutions will be trained over and over again to assure the "Right Response in a Stress Situation".

Any technique that is Not effective or doubted by the technical Commission or masters of the system will Not be official applied in the system.

Instructors and Masters will gain knowledge of handling and disarming of warious weapons like knives, guns and sticks.

Further attention will be given to “Controlling” with police Tools and “handcuffing”.

KMS has a belt system where students can promote themselves and stay motivated, this also the way the intstructor will know exactely at which Level a Student can be trained and how far he can be pushed for Maximum learning.

 

The system is NOT based on hoping for pity from an oponent, but will force yourself to take the lead and Create your own opportunety for victory.

6 Step Fighting Tactic  

1.     Realizing Problem.

2.     Out of Contact range.

3.     1st Contact control – Block/redirect attack.

4.     Simultaneously attack (same time as # 3) – create confusion.

5.     Control - Neutralize – depends on situation/opponent.

6.     Finish situation, - call police / run away.
